Welcome Speech

Good morning to all respected teachers, our honorable Principal Sir/Madam, dear guests, and my lovely friends. Today is a very special day. We are gathered here to celebrate Teachers’ Day, a day to show love, respect, and gratitude to our dear teachers. This day is celebrated every year on 5th September to honor Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the great teacher, philosopher, and the second President of India.

He believed that teachers are the real builders of the nation. Teachers guide us, inspire us, and prepare us to face life with courage. They not only teach us subjects but also help us to become good human beings.

As the anchor of this program, I feel blessed to welcome you all to this beautiful celebration dedicated to our teachers. Today, we have many exciting performances, speeches, songs, and activities prepared by our students to express our respect and love for our teachers.

So let us begin this wonderful day with lots of energy and enthusiasm.

Starting the Program

A celebration always begins with remembering God, the ultimate teacher of the universe. To make the beginning auspicious, let us start with a prayer. I would like to invite (student’s name) to come on stage and present the prayer song.

(After the prayer)
Thank you for such a divine start. With God’s blessings, we are sure that today’s program will be successful.

Now I would like to request our honorable Principal Sir/Madam to come on stage and give a few words of inspiration on this Teachers’ Day.

(After the Principal’s speech)
Thank you so much Sir/Madam for your kind and inspiring words. Your presence always motivates us to do better.

About Teachers’ Day

Dear friends, Teachers’ Day is not just a celebration, it is a way to thank our teachers for their endless efforts. They guide us just like a candle burns itself to give light to others. They prepare us to face every challenge in life.

Dr. Radhakrishnan once said, “True teachers are those who help us think for ourselves.” This is why we are proud to have such wonderful teachers in our school.

On this day, students from all classes express their love through speeches, poems, songs, and small plays. So let’s continue our celebration with the next performance.

Poem Presentation

Now I would like to call (student’s name) to come on stage and present a poem dedicated to all our dear teachers.

(After the poem)
That was really beautiful. The words of the poem touched our hearts and truly showed how important teachers are in our lives.

Speech by a Student

Teachers’ Day is also a day when students get a chance to share their feelings. Now I invite (student’s name) to deliver a short speech on Teachers’ Day.

(After the speech)
Thank you so much. Your words were inspiring and full of respect for our teachers.

Dance Performance

Now, to make our program more colorful and joyful, we will have a dance performance by our friends of class (name). Let’s welcome them with a big round of applause.

(After the dance)
Wow! That was a wonderful performance. Thank you for bringing so much energy to this stage.

Teachers’ Day Special Play

Dear friends, a teacher is like a second parent. They teach us discipline, values, and the importance of hard work. To express this, our friends have prepared a short play on the role of a teacher in a student’s life. Let’s enjoy this performance together.

(After the play)
That was truly amazing. The play reminded us how much effort teachers put into shaping our future.

Song Presentation

Music always adds charm to any program. Now let’s listen to a melodious song dedicated to our teachers. I invite (student’s name) and group to come on stage.

(After the song)
What a sweet song! Thank you for singing it so beautifully. I am sure our teachers must be feeling proud and happy.

Fun Games for Teachers

Teachers always give their time to us. Today, let us give them a chance to relax and enjoy. We have arranged a small fun game for our respected teachers. I request (teacher’s name) and (teacher’s name) to please come on stage and participate.

(After the game)
That was so much fun! Thank you teachers for your active participation.

More Speeches and Experiences

Now I would like to invite one of our senior teachers (name) to share some experiences and give blessings to students.

(After teacher’s speech)
Thank you Sir/Madam. Your words are like a guiding light for us. We promise to follow your teachings and always try to make you proud.

Student’s Gratitude

Today, on behalf of all the students, I want to say that we are grateful for your love, care, and knowledge. You are the reason we dream big and work hard. You show us the right path and correct us when we are wrong. Without you, our life would be like a boat without a sailor.

Ending Speech

As we come to the end of today’s program, let us once again remember that teachers are the true heroes of our life. They do not wear a cape, but they are stronger than any superhero because they shape the future of the world.

On this Teachers’ Day, let us take a promise that we will always respect our teachers, obey them, and never forget their contribution in our life.

I thank all the respected teachers for being with us today and for guiding us every day. I also thank our Principal Sir/Madam, all students, and everyone who helped to make this event successful.

So with lots of love and gratitude in our hearts, we wish you all a very Happy Teachers’ Day!

Thank you.
